It's one of the most useful things you can do for your team. Tell them to go repair it if they don't like not having their assets. Then destroy it again.

I just wanna put this in perspective. It is good to blow the assets. But if your faced against an intelligent commander, who in this case can read you like the poorly wrtten book that you might be(a certain person, none of you guys tho). If your whole goal is to keep going after the assets as your only means of getting points, then you should die(slowly). If your going to spend the whole game going after assets and main spawn kills and only managing about 3 kills, 3 suicides, 10-15 deaths from the commander, and finishing out at about 20 points with  3 kills and 25 deaths. Your existence is futile, and therefore i approve your un-doing.

rofl why would you suicide? And if you drop keep scan/uav down like you're supposed to, and hide in buildings, you can pick off enemies and the commander cant see you. A more realistic scenario is keeping the UAV/scan down most of the round, and having more kills then deaths, although you can obviously get more points on the frontlines. Its one of those thankless jobs really, you finish middle of the scoreboard, and never get thanked. If you find this FUN, you probably have a high W/L ratio, I just find it too boring so I dont do it much. Lately I started bombing the commander assets though, its a much faster ride over there

2 bombs = death to any asset, I usually just go for the scan trailer, or if we really pounded them back to their base I'll take out everything if I have nothing else to drop bombs on.

If you are blowing up assets and the enemy cmdr. is staying on top of repairing them, then he is distracted from commanding and his team is kinda leaderless. Next time try to make a squad of spec ops, medic and support, and get all of their assets.

I hate when the enemy blows UAV. Unless I'm commander, or we have some tank whores at the main, nobody is going to repair it. It's certainly not bad form but it's a slap in the face of the enemy. Probably some dumbasses with big egos who started verbally abusing you.

All the commander has to do is go into the commander screen and select a general area where you are hiding and spot.  You will be spotted by the commander and therefore, can be killed, thus making your attempt at blowing the UAV a minor setback.

It's not bad form at all, in my opinion. It helps your team win. That's all that matters. It was just those people being douches.
Exactly, actually it's great form.  You only get a point for destroying those assets.  However you being a team player, which seems to be rare in this game.

Kudos for you, keep it up.
