I find that those who don't play sniper all that much aren't as observant as we are. THey don't ever seem to notice the dead friend with whom they were getting ammo from/capping a flag mere moments ago. Especially medics (seriously) + pilots. Getting into the chopper is worth more than their life. Just today, on Kubra. Sitting on lower dam with los on helipad. 5 kills, even had to to reload (only had ~3 shells in magazine), before proceeding on the trail of death. They just stood their and watched themselves be killed How is that NOT retarded?

keeping a flag from being capped is as important as capping a flag. Just because you dont see the MEC kit bags lying on the ground as you cap the neutral doesnt mean one of us is out there, making sure your job is easier. Snipers catalyze the match for their team, they make the other team wary of every door/ open space.

Quite frankly, if i ever encountered a team comprised solely of snipers, i'd have the first ticket to a team swap, countersniping is the sole reason i play BF2. Ahhh.......nothing but snipers.....man that would kick ass.

Spec Ops: can be usefull as jihad, commander toys destroyer.. but poor gun at shorter distances makes it an easy prey for infantry.

Support: useless thing.. can be used for nade spamming only.. who really needs ammo.. 99% of people die before they are empty.. I get kits (with almost full ammo) from my enemies I don't need support. Support needs go prone to shoot accurately.. such a waste of time cost u life.

Assault: best class in the game.. with GL u can kill all squads even full of reviving each other medic.. if u have experience u can almost snipe with GL

Sniper: Much depends on map. Some are good for snipers, others are not. Especially in SF snipers are strong. Good sniper is an infantry worst nightmare.. People hate them.. thats what this class is for.. annoying people and fun, fun fun

Snipers are scouts, flag defenders (clays) and suppressing fire.

Only snipers and specops are good at defendig flags because their explosives dont require them to be there. Anyone camping a flag is useless to their team.

All the other kits have support roles because they are made for attacking. Snipers stay at a disctance because they are expected to survive without medics. Assault, support, medic, engi and AT all stay up front because they complement eachother. They are supposed to die and get revived, waste ammo and resupply, cover eachother with smoke and repair their own vehicles.

Snipers are at the back of the battlefield, with a big viewing range and they should be spotting threats and dealing with infantry. They also cover the front of the battlefield by suppressing enemy fire.
The attacking squads are supposed to cause ticket bleed, snipers help a little bit here, but they are mostly there to prevent enemy breakthrough.

A whole team of snipers sucks, because nobody is helping eachother, but a whole team of assaults would die too, because each kit has a weakness.

Okay.. so you have all listed the bad points about classes, now for the good points :

Engineer - Ability to take out vehicles and also in close combat can prove extremely helpful.

Sniper - Ability to spot enemies far away, and can place key-located claymores around flags for defense.

Medic - Another key-asset in a team, ability to revive enemies that have been taken down in fire.

Spec-Ops - C4 for UAV, Scan, Artillery, Vehicles: you name it!

Assault - Mini-Support class. Offers get strength in accuracy and weapons.

Anti-Tank - Ability to take out tanks again, but at further range.

Support - Ability to give ammo, resupplying key people under fire who need some help. Not the most accurate of weapons, but at long range can prove very reliable.
