it wont go up past 2.5...it totally locks up...


PS: what do i do if i want to cause irriversible damage to it without frying the rest of my system or pulling any parts out?

Edit: at 2.5 gHz, i'm hitting temps between 40-50c while running firefox, utorrent, and gulf of oman singleplayer in bf2.

good or bad?

EDIT: it crashed . guess i'll stick with 2.3....it was stable there.

keep it under 50C, for safety, 45C i'd say. And are you using the stock heatsink/fan?
