hey guys just a few pics i took at the airshow a few weeks ago, sorry there arent too many i took the rest with my dads camera (uses film) but i hope you like them, its really hard to get a shot of something doing mach .8

nice pics. whomever painted those blackhawks needs to be shot, theres a reson they are called blackhawks... bah, that camo makes me wanna puke.

I think if you paint it grey its called a seahawk. ... btw nice pics

P-51D arguably the best fighter of all time (when considering the period it fought).

I still love the 100ft fireball the F-111 can make.

P-51 was only good at high altitudes, the russians had some badass fighters, like the Lachovian La-7 and La-5. they flew low to medium heights and kicked ass both ways. had the germans gotten the Me-262 out earlier they could have turned the war around.

That particular P51-D is/was owned by a mate of my dad by the name of Jeff Trappett. I beleive he still owns an F-86 Sabre too (Only one still flying in Aus) I will try and get some pics uploaded of it at the East Sale RAAF base.

yes the F-111 is bloody cool to watch, dont know if it does much else though
