skiers suck im a boarder all the way
Used to snowboard some. I learned here http://www.stowe.com/ with some friends. They took me to the top and said "let's go".(Fishbowling the Gondola
didn't help) About half way down I kinda got the hang of it. I got ok over the years, but never a big hitter. I liked the smaller jumps. But do to much needed rotator cuff surgery, I won't be hitting the slopes any time this winter. I actually didn't surf more than twice this summer. Too much pain. Oh well, thank GOD I have health insurance. It's just missing work for six weeks thats really gonna hurt.

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.

Any hints on where in the world to hit the slopes would be very greatfull.

Nope, it doesn't snow in SA...
So i wakeboard
So i wakeboard
yes, since 92, but i picked null since i didnt want to say fuck skiers. pretty douche bag attitude right there, i thought that little bit of beef was long dead.
i ski (no snowboarding) a lot, as the is a nice place just 30 min away from where i live. also i started skiing before snowboarding became common and i dont want to learn all over again.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
i ski, but plan to try to snowboard next winter
I board & my girlfriend skis. I've been boarding for about 5 years now, moved to Colorado for it from Vegas.
I have a Burton baron, flow bindings & Burton boots. I ride regular , stance 15' forward & -15' back.
Learned on the piece of crap wanna be mount Charleston with it's 30 second run, then I came to Colorado for real mountains & champagne powder.
I like powder & big mountain & trees, the park is for the younger crowd.
As far as the whole rivalry between skiers & snowboarders it's pretty much dead cause there is about equal parts now. Someday I hope to learn how to ski but boarding just looks more fun, the powder skis are looking more & more like mini snowboards though.
I highly recommend the new helmets that just came out that have the mp3 earmuffs, nothing like shredding to your favorites list.
Oh & segan I've already been 5 times
Here's the site where I'll be designing my new board for next year. http://www.series13.com/Chooser/default … ault%2Easp

of course. snowboarding rocks!
Snowboarding is for pansies. Skiing, or better still blading, is for real men. I'm considering blading the entire week I'm in Meribel this January although it'll be tough on the old knees.
Snowboard .... I used to ski but snowboarding is a lot funnier: at the beginning you just keep falling but when you improve it's awsome
I have done both.
Skiing 24 weeks +
Snowboarding 5 weeks
I can safely say that snowboarding is for people who don't want to take huge risks, anything that can be done on a snowboard can be done on skis and requires 2x more ski and effort. Most people choose snowboarding because they think the tricks look cool, tricks on skis look far cooler, it also actually hurts if you bail, which rarely happens but atleast im not pussying out.
However snowboarding is still fun, just not as good when you get to my ability at skiing.

Mostly all snowboarders hate skiers for many reasons. I don't know all the reasons but, here are some. Read this>>> http://www.local-iq.com/index.php?optio … ;Itemid=52 <<< just a little something to read about snowboarders and skiers. Enjoy!!
Tricks aint everything. Speed is a fun thrill as well. Topping over 50mph on a snowboard on a boardercross course is a hell of a rush, and I was lasered btw.Vilham wrote:

And if you think snowboarding is easy, try keeping up with the crowd on a double BD with moguls. It ain't easy.
Tricks are for kids. ... Speed is where it's at
I chose fuck skiers, but I don't see an option for yes, what's up with that?
