Do you think EA and Dice will come out with more maps for this game? This is starting to get old.
I don't care for the bf2142
If they come out with bf3 sure hope they can link the bf2 and bf3 together

That way it would stay close to the same format with more maps and weapons
it's more like modern war then what they have in bf2142

I can see maybe one more patch to try and correct some lingering issues, but I don't see anymore maps being released. Jalalalabad was the last map that will be released for BF2.

Well as I recall, Wake was released prior to the BF2 Special Edition so there might have been a financial reason to releasing a new map. Besides, considering the exact same map existed in BF1942, I don't imagine it took all that much work to port it to BF2.

As for Jalalabad...God knows why EA actually gave us a free new map that isn't a carbon copy of something they've already done...it boggles the mind and refreshes your faith in humanity, sort of.

I'm not so sure they would even consider spending their time creating another map, free of charge. They obviously don't have a problem getting people to play their game, and even if you are bored of the same old maps, you still play them don't you?
