I have 0 motivation to study. This game/site has ruined me

I figure all that stands between me and 4 weeks of solid BF2 freedom (christmas break between fall and winter term) is tomorrow.

To be honest I'm just burned out. My class load this term kinda sucked. I had the above plus a ECE351 on Signals & systems. The topic on that one was brought up in another thread, but wiki Fourier Transforms to get an idea of why that class made me want to cry.

EDIT::: had months instead of weeks ... lol... 4 months.. I wish.

i am just so pissed that i am doing bad in my classes and got demoralized
i have freaking B in calculus and Ib physics, and also civics
damn it and these classes have hard test and i never do great on them
i need a good GPA and computer is screwing me up(youtube and tv shows)

lols, i got A+s in everything cept english, that's like A- <-so i don't give a fuck. Workin on a short english paper right now and it's 12:08 am, i'll probly be done by 1, than be getting up at 6:30 am ish, what a life. Even had the day off today, but no, too busy playing around with my gpu and cpu speeds.

MUSIC always helps me focus, and talking to chicks on msn (especially when they're working on the same paper )

I'm in all honors for my senior year in high school, and it's easy as fuck. Besided Calculus. I have a D in that class. But, A's and B's in everything else.

I get those kind of days. Just couldn't care less about next days exams and such, but I just think of the benefits. Like more BF2 in the holidays, if I finish all this stuff. And maybe more opportunities to go out with girls...

I study heaps for exams and such. My last report turned up all A's except for Music, in which case I got a C. But music can kiss my hairy ass.

How did you manage a 'C' in Music? I have two A-'s in my music classes because I have a 'bad' attitude to everything and everyone there.

Next term I'll give you a buzz. I'm doing alright right now.

Got 317 knocked off my list, working on 375 now, and did some of my 261 earlier and I'll be doing it tomorrow morning as well.

Productivity is good.... for now...

And for the record I had a 3.75 GPA in Highschool.

These people chiming in with A+'s and shit... ... no offense, but it don't mean crap in college. I took the AP's, etc etc.. graduated NHS and with Honors.

Become an Electrical Engineer and feel my pain

And if you want a comparison, I pulled a 4.0 my freshman year in college as a Business Major, and have dropped to a 2.75 average as an Engineer. The difficulty difference IS that big.

I can give you a course if you want.
Step 1. Adopt a 'fuck all' attitude towards music.
Step 2. Do not pay attention in class.
Step 3. Fail Exam.

The final step is the epitome of this three part course. If you fail to fail the exam, you have failed this course, and in turn, have passed Music.

Congratulations, you have now failed Music! You may proceed to receive high grades in more important subjects, and drop Music in Year 9.

You think you have 0 motivation? For my Computer Science 2 course(Data Structures and Algorithm analysis in Java) we were granted a 4 page cheat sheet(front and back). I just watched Vandread and forum hopped. But what really sucks is that I don't have the last 3 episodes of the series

Oh, I got 25/100 on the test because I didn't remember the Matrix Multiplication Dynamic Algorithm nor dynamic knap-sack solution. Damn those 35pt questions!

Wish I woulda had data structures in Java...

F'ers gave me 2 years of Java only to switch me to C with data structures. I mean I've now learned C/C++ is a much nicer language than Java, but it was lousy planning on their part.

Fortunately for me this data structures class is a cakewalk... Just gotta know about Trees, Heaps, Skiplists, bags, deque's... etc.. and a bunch of sorting algorithms..

I completely understand the trials and tribulations of being an Engineering Major. (Junior in Mechanical Engineering) Same scenario as JE3146. I had a 3.75 in high school, graduated with honors, was active in the school and community, and then I got to college. Talk about a fisting. High school honors classes, for the most part, tend to be a joke. My GPA got worked my freshman year, and now I'm attempting to drag it up from the depths of hell as quickly as possible. Welcome to college I guess. Finals are done next week, so I'll be happy when I get four weeks to do absolutely nothing.
