I've been playing the demo of COH and I like it so far. Trying to decide whether or not to put it on my Christmas list. Why do you like or dislike COH and how does it compare to the gameplay in the demo?

Its got a hell of a learning curve but its an awesome RTS. 10/10 from me. GRaphics are wondermous.

I have it. I love the game but I have stoped playing since 2142 came out. I still do go back to it every few days.
Some of the guys in my clan are playing it. As I said in a different thread, I'm trying to expand the kinds of games I play. Only played Diablo 2, but that's more role playing that strategy commanding a variety of assets. That variety is what attracts me to COH, but the learning curve is kind of intimidating since I'm not a heavy RTS player.

The thing with COH is that you have so many damn options to use in each round that it is always new feeling. Do you blitz with infantry men equiped with anti-tanik weapons and nades of do you wait, produce devastating artillery and pound the fool into oblivion? The building blow uppie thingy is cool as well, after airstrikes cities look ahniallated.
Best strategy game out there. It truly is a work of art.

CoH is worth it. destructible maps, good AI, tough campaign, good online play, not to mention great graphics. you should get it.
