Can you put a HIND=Apache option?
Like many people have said before me, I prefer the HIND on the Gator(circle of death!)
but the Apache rocks Ghost Town.
I pilot most of the time and find that both are very good helicopters, with fights going either way between skilled crews, although the Apache is advantaged in these kinds of fights.

EDIT: the HIND is designed with gunners or soloing in mind, while the Apache is built for everything

But they arent equal, so

I tried the HIND gunner position yesterday, it really is better than Apache, but not terribly so. They should have replaced it with the Mi-28 gun.

I gun more than pilot and i prefer the apache as a gunner for the explosive rounds, sure they dont fire as fast but they kill quicker. You can even kill will splash damage which im pretty sure the hind cant. The only thing i like about the hind is the visible missilesque attachment that i use as a point of reference to see where my pilot is looking, which is handy for setting up tv shots. With the apache i have to switch camera every so often to see where theyre looking.

What about the hind's ability to to the spin of death? I was gunning one time on gator in the hind.
The pilot starts doing some vertical spin over the American's last spawn, (the flight deck).
EVERY SRAW missed. They just couldn't hit the thing. Meanwhile I'm owning the inf with my cannon.

The Apache is great, however, Ghost Town flyers should stay away from Gator. Just had the WORST pilot ever - never lined up TV's, didnt know where the TV spot was (my view was always below the chopper/apc/aa) and he always went in with missiles. Needless to say, we got shot down a lot due to his incompetance.

The Apache TVmissle lags a lot for me. I will left click several times, but it takes about 9 seconds to fire. The HIND does not.

Apache is a sleek machine killer, while the Hind is an infantry raper.

My opinion, the Apache has a better chain gun and not a wide missle spread. It's quick in movement and good for evasion, as posted before. HIND is good for raping baby SEALS on Iron Gator while flying, though.

Conclusion: AH-64 Apache=teh winnar

Actually its better for SF, because of the small maps.

You have more vehicles directly beneath you, so SF heli's dont need to noint their nose all the way down, which makes hovering easier.
Thats why TV + HIND is a winner, HIND is easy to control.

The longbow is hella buggy on iron gator.. if you use your tv missiles sometimes you wont be able to change viewing mode to remove your cockpit, and the chaingun will do zero damage.. on the other hand the hind`s tv missiles will missfire 5 out of 10 times on ghost town..
