since when did they start to be regulated by admins? i just got banned by the language filter on the dalian one... we'll see if its just a one rounder like it was before. IMO insomnia servers have gone to shit...i liked them cuz i could let someone have a piece of my mind and cus all i wanted too but now i see a very slim chance of playin on them ever again time to find me a new server!

BFROE has taken command of the Insomnia servers and now its no fun cause they are bloody tampons and regulate play. Personally I think mindlessness is better than regulated gayness.
I'm glad they started admining that server. So much shit goes on in there with no admins. Although I did enjoy being able to call people whatever curse word I could think of.

well I have quit playing insomnia, well sorta quit playing bf2 at all but I HATE THE FUCKING ADMINS!! They made it so you couldn't go into 3rd person view, I use 3rd person view all the time when I fly jets... then I got pissed and told them to fix the fucking server, and they booted me. I liked insomnia without the admins, that was the fucking fun about insomnia! If only they weren't the BFROE fags...
i remember once when i played on imsomnia dalian server i tried to get rid of the gunner who was doing shit, then he told that he was from BFROE but i didn't give a shit. i was flying the chopper then we died becuase he didn't know how to use the tv missile so we spawned and i teamkilled him then I saw a message on the screen "[LxC]-=pikiman-banning for teamkilling". I laughed so hard.

Have you ever played as PLA on Dalian or Wake? The J10 routinely has 6 or 7 people standing in front of it, ready to get the pilot kicked as he takes off. It's a good day on the server if someone doesn't bring an FAV into the fray and block the runway, causing the pilot to die as soon as he strikes it, wasting a plane and getting him kicked. Now do you see where my name comes from? Everybody wants to pwn noobs without fear of getting shot down, and in the process causes their team to lose spectacularly.
Having BFROE in charge is just going to turn Insomnia into a pub noob paradise. "No swearing, no base raping, share the commander spot, worship us as gods or we reset you." True, it's a shithole because it's full of one type of noob now (the "jet jet jet, tank tank tank, give me now or I force tk!" kind), but it also has some competition in the form of skilled players from clans. Those players, I can almost guarantee, will disappear. It's simply swapping one negative thing for another.
I'd like to see a large server, with few rules (other than "don't force tk, tk, or take a vehicle seat you're not qualified for"), and good players in it. Sadly, this is less likely to become a reality with Betafield 2142 out.

the mindless tk violence is what made it so fun, putting a coupla c4's in the blackhawk then one infront of you then bam you get five free tk's. then when you jump out of your car before you hit the person, pure fun
Sounds like mass anarchy. Fun if you have some sadistic urge in you (and who can say that, playing BF2, they haven't had an urge like that before?), but not if you're trying to get a good round of BF2 going.
