I am pretty good at all of the above...Recon is still my favorite class, they are simply so versatile at killing...well, pretty much anything.

Sniper in the beginning of the round, cull the enemy while my team caps flags.
Mid round, I pod in on enemy silos with the Lambert, and of course knife "shit-stains".
Shields down - APM and RDX whore.

I pretty much just use recon in combination with FF off, and whore RDX. Either blow people up with it, or launch myself onto buildings, and throw down a beacon.
definately a combination ... rarely do i snipe anymore. Now its lambert + apm + rdx.
Titan
Before titan shields go down: Vanilla fighting, APM silos, blow up assets.
After titan shields down 70% defend inside with apms and lambert.
30% attack, rdx consoles, apm red and yellow corridors.
Conquest
I'll use lambert ... but mostly won't play recon much n conquest. Once pistol is bolstered I'll do more sniping.
Once I hit 40 hours and get gold recon, I will probally only play when needed.

I usually do options 1 and 2.
I was a bit of each, but recently the kit has gone sour for me. Assualt and Support are my favs now.
Ninjaing ppl is my thing.
i've strictly played as a spec ops the entire time as recon. i had the lambert tree open before i began playing with recon, so i could get away with that.

Engineer is favorite, but I used recon a lot when I started playing, it was just so much fun with the Zeller-H, I ninja people most of the time, never use the useless camo though, sniper rifle for long range and knife for close range is the way to go.
for urban conquest...i use my recon with my lambert and attack..just like assault...for larger maps i use the sniper rifle
Sabotage would be closest. I don't use the RDX too much, but the Lambert + APM's in forward attacking/flag capping situations is a nice combo.
I carry: Lambert, Camo, RDX.
The camo is only good for sneaking up on tanks, because they attribute the movement to the random interferance on the vehicle screen.

I generally just kill tanks etc, camp in titan.
I recently found a good strategy though.....similar to jihading. When I get in a tank, I always have 2 RDX'es on the front. This way when I know I will lose a fight (either to walker/tank/etc) I just jump out and detonate next to the attacker - it works well for me.

Recon class is so very irritating. Soooooo powerful in even a noob's hands
Camp a silo as recon. Throw down the claymores and RDX, then find a nice close spot overlooking the silo. First 2 kills recieved from claymores. Enemy air transport drops in nice and close for rdx kaboom time = 3 more kills. Couple more enemy arrive, and they they get a couple of frag grenades to the face = 2 more kills. Then bust some caps in a few more peeps.
