Shouldn't be happening on my new computer right away.
Anyways,

Sometimes, when my mom shuts down the computer, a box with an X comes up saying sumthing like 'd236533 (i just picked a random thing) could not open up because windows is shutting down.' but it comes up so fast and then goes away, my mom can't figure out what 'thing' is trying to open up.

Second box. I just clicked 'download' to download the 2142 demo, the window would come up asking where i wanted to save, but another little box with an X would say 'Internet Explorer could not download. Unspecified Error.'

I just kept clicking ok to get rid of it, but it would keep coming up. I continued to click OK so that I could actually press Save and begin downloading.

Any info on why these 2 boxes are suddenly coming up outta nowhere? It's a brand new computer, I should have stupid errors like this right away, I run a virus scan, spyware, and adaware weekly.

dont worry about the first one. if a program doesn't shut down fast enough, windows will give it that countdown box to end. its nothing to worry about.

and FF is the shit. not 100% sure thats your issue, but you should be using FF anyway...so...
