So i mess around with this all day at school in class
so much fun

i want it, but dont want to have to pay 100 for tiger+80 for FC

so, does anyone know it theres a sound editing software thats comparable to soundtrack
and not gunna kill my wallet

Photoshop was originally BUILT for the Macintosh. Adobe say THEIR PRODUCTS work BETTER on MACS.

Macs own EVERYTHING for video editing.
Windows owns EVERYTHING for gaming.

You've never done any professional video editing, have you?  And iPhoto is just for importing photos from a camera and super basic editing.  iPhoto is more comparable to the windows picture and fax viewer.  I have Photoshop CS2 on my Mac...  If you wanted to make an intelligent argument, it would be Avid >= FC Pro, because at least you can argue that major movies are edited on Avid as well as FC Pro.  You fail...

Oh, on topic, have you used GarageBand?  It's a cheaper, less powerful version of Soundtrack.  You're not going to get good audio editing software without dropping some change.  I highly suggest Pro Tools, but you have to buy Digidesign (or certain M-Audio) hardware to run it, which'll put you back a bit.
