Im upgrading my old pc to play bf2 but ive run into a problem it has NVIDIA GeForce2 intergrated gpu on it will this work with bf2 if it doesnt can i buy a new card to upgrade?
thats not even a card dude. you have onboard video graphics. dont bother upgrading, just go to cyberpowersystems.com or something and get a custom.

No taking it out. Integrated means attatched in this case. You can buy a new card and install it. Most bios's will see the new card and disable "ingegrated" for you. If not, you go into bios at start-up and disable it there.

it doesnt come out. as in, its built in. you could upgrade, sure, but it wouldnt be worth it. if your PC has onboard graphics its probably craptastic. post specs.
my laptop has the same sort of shit mobile intel 915gm/gms,910gml express chipset so i cant upgrade that ethier but the PC has a amd athlon xp 2200+ with 256mb of ram but if i get the gpu issue sorted out im going to buy 2x 512mb sticks of RAM.

thats not worth the upgrade.
It doesn't matter if its worth it or not im just saying if i bought a new card installed it and disabled the intergrated graphics and upgraded RAM would it play bf2.

im only talking like low to medium settings not high or anything.
He is right, it will run it, but barely. I am running a 2800+ with 1 gig and a ati 9600 128mb card. It will run ok at all low.

looks like ill have to sell my laptop and buy a desktop pc i should be able to get a new one i can sell this for about 1300 aus$ or more since i payed 1800$ for it

What is the conversion to US? Anyways, sounds like the system is pretty old. You might get a couple hundred for it (US). But you can build your own system for about $500-$600 from scratch -monitor. You would be able to play BF2 or BF2142 on all medium and high.

buy a custom there are loads of great deals out there or ask one of the brainy tech guys here to put one together for you
