1. Windows
2. Mac
3. Unix
4. Linux

Windows is like $50
Mac is like $500
The others i have no idea.

You can get most of the Linux-Versions for free... but yeah, not a lot of choices... Unfortunately I didn't get Linux to run on my comp so I'm still stuck with XP

Unix/Linux = free = more stable >>> windows. Yet sad you can't play all games on it, and not all programs run in it because of the monopoly of microsoft.
(In case you wonder, I have windows XP and Ubuntu (they ship free cd's and can't download a lot of distro's with my DLlimit).
