Will Crysis be available for those of us who can't afford and 8800?
Yes it will. However you will not be able to play it on all high of course. there is a good article featuring an interview with crysis developers and their work with dx10 on ign.
yea. I wont exptect games to REQUIRE DX10 for atleast 3 years. Although, games will ahve (recommendations) of specs for DX10.
We all know crysis will look great I'm just wondering how the game play will be. Far cry sucked..lol. I hope it's not like Just Cause on the 360... Awesome graphics, crappy game play.

Farcry sucked? Thats a first. That game was so far ahead of its time. It was and still is awesome.
As for crysis, The release date has yet again been bumped. EB games has it listed as comeing out on 9/10/07? WTH, I need a new game to play, or i might get sucked into that black hole walled WOW!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Anti WOW shields sre low LOL!

As a single player it wasn't bad but I don't think that's what people of this community are hoping for. BF series players enjoy the Multi player aspect including all the vehicles and stats that go with it. I don't anticipate this with Crysis. I think it will look great and be a cool storyline game but online we will have to see.

He's right, multi player sucked, and I dunno why but it seemed REALLY camp going around in hawaian shirt's blowing each other to kingdom come.
Single player AI was excellent though, Dice could take some pointers from that and make single player bf much better, so to give us a credible training mode. Just a thought

The game was built around the singleplayer campaing, so you should judge it by that. I think it was made very well and the game had a great feeling most of the time.Kmarion wrote:

this game doesn't look half bad either. it's kind of along the same type of game, mostly open. the campaign is a decent length of 40-60 hours too, if you choose to do everything.
