atm i have v2.6 and want to goto 1.5 most people say to

What is the good of upgrading your PSP? I have a Ceramic White PSP from Japan and it works great on all kinds of games without upgrading... I think it might be version 2.0 though...

Im on like a really low version i forget what it is but u can download games onto it adn play them with out a disc but u ahve to have a disc in there to operate it...my mate done it for me lol i have no clue...but its cool! haha

I haven't haxored mine yet. It costs too much. The only real reason to upgrade is for the features... I'm guessing that if you look in the right places you can find hacks that give you the same or better features and you can still use it for pr0n or whatevs you hackers do... Why isn't this in the tech section again?

Its not really a little kid toy. Their demographic is for 18 to 35 year olds. This is by far not even near a Gameboy.

Research it a little bit and you will see. I promise you that 90% of the people who own PSP are over 18 anyway because it costs $200.

I agree that it's aimed towards an older crowd, but I know a lot of kids that have them. The lady I work with bought one for her daughter (about 13) so she could watch movies on car trips and such. She was comparing it to mine and told me this... I had recently read an article that Sony was going to quit making UMD movies... I can't find it now though and Wikipedia says they cut back, but not compeletly gone.

Edit: I would also take a PSP over a PDA anytime. With all the mods out there it can do pretty much anything a PDA can do and it's still a bad ass gaming platform.
