After a recent study of BF2 players I have come to this conclusion. The majority of players who "whore" Air, Tanks & APC's are playing for points, not actually trying to get their team a win. Those who play infantry (on foot) are generally trying to help their team win the game.

All the maps for COD and MoH are tiny though same with CS. BF2 IO is good becuase it gives you very large maps, which give you far more options (with the exception of rush da hotelz wth da nadez)

You should really play Ghost Recon 1 on PC then. Great infantry fights on big maps. But i agree with you i like the opportunity to flank, slip by undetected and do something sneaky;).Towelly wrote:

I like both IO and normal BF2, depends on my mood, but it is really simple, if i wanna play IO i fond a server that suits my needs. You should all do the same, and stop complaining about IO.

Hmm lately i have been playing as usual mainly dragon valley 24/7 i normally do when there is a few of us in squad either heli whoring(i do this for fun of it all.)Or just ground pounding not really getting in tanks as it takes ages to get across the map.
Or i play IO on jahalabad,i love playing IO don't need to worry about vehicles or anything just CS on a massive scale.I think adding IO kept me intrested in BF2,if they hadn't added it then i think i would of stopped playing it on my own.

Jets who spawnrape the carrier, I will partly agree with. Although, saying that that doesnt contribute to their teams success is completely retarded. If no chopper or F35 can take off on DV, then US are bolloxed from the start.
Find me on any server in a tank, and I guarantee I wont be spawnraping. Im proud of my 5KDR in armour which comes from all the proper maps in this game, taking flags and annhilating enemy armour.
I play to win and im a J-10 Whore... And we usually win because of it.
