once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Running a half-decent rig (memo to wait six months next time, stuff already getting out of date), so here goes:
AMD 3500+ (OC'ed to 2.27)
Geforce 6800 Ultra (EVGA)
Azus A8N sli premium motherboard (integrated sound, a headset will suffice...though my bro's surround is nice)
Western Digital 7200 RPM 300GB Hard Drive
2 Gig Corsair RAM

With this stuff, I can run the game concievably on all high settings (2x AA), but it lags horrifically if combat gets intense.  I typically keep textures, filtering, lighting, shadows, dynamic lighting on at medium, Everything else at high...presents smoothest gameplay without making it look terrible (1024 x 768 Resolution...my LCD is 3 years old and a clunky Dell Mofo that I should replace someday)

THEN YOUR COMPUTER CANT HANDLE THOSE SETTINGS OF U CANT HANDLE COMBAT Action, I CAN HAVE EVERUTHING ON HIGH/MED BUT INCOMBAT IT LAGS BAD SO I PUT IT ON LOW/MED [TEXTURES ON HIGH TO SEE THE SCOPE]

Shit caps lock was on

Max out your view distance, that will help.  I run at 1024x768 to keep things smooth, everything on high, view distance maxed.  My rig can probably handle the 1280 settings, haven't attempted yet.

SAY WHAT!

All medium at teh moment (appart from shadows bt that is because I find it harder to see enemies with them on), but isnt coping well, new rig I hope shall run everything super smooth on high
