Who do you seem to race to the top?

Everyone has someone they are neck and neck with stat-wise (globally speaking). The player I always seem to be around in the global ranking ( http://bf2s.com/rankings/score/29 ) is this dude----> http://bf2s.com/player/46828505/

Since i made major he and I have been neck and neck, his kdr blows me outa the water and he definately ground pounds but I am always seeing him near me! Its pretty cool!

Anyways who do u guys race to the next rank? and post their stats

I believe you're only really "racing" someone when you're near the top. As for the average players like me, i never compare with others.

when he first appreared on there he was a 2nd Lt and I was 1st Lt. Now he seems to be getting 5k points+ per day

yeah: Leader Board

Granted he is my friend and we usually play together, but since I have caught him (check the histories) him and I seem swap the "lead" regularly. Until one of us puts in more time then the other and we end up a bit apart.

it looks like his spm is so high b/c he is a good chopper pilot and getting a lot of points in the process!

I was racing to have the best kill/death with a knife.. I hit 70th place overall before I realized the top 50 are padders with like 200:1 ratios with the blade.. Oh well, back to obtaining my own personal goals for kit specific stats- as it is now, i just try to beat out my Supply/repair points IAR, or see how many roadkills I can get with the ATV..

Not that just playing the game isn't fun as hell, but when you go into a round thinking to yourself "I'm going to beat my 112 teampoint IAR record" or "I'm going to kill someone by jumping on them this round" the completion of said objective is golden.

There's a guy on a site I go to that used to have a bunch of BF2 players. It seems like us two are the only ones that play anymore....but we are pretty neck and neck in the ranks. We're like a couple hundred points apart. His SPM is a bit better than mine, and my KDR is a bit better than his....overall I think we are similarly "skilled" just sometimes skilled at different things.

I usually make ranks before him, but only cause I play more. He made 1st Lieu before me cause I hadn't played for about 2 months.
