Been having a problem losing my Connection, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this.
I'm afraid there is no bonaifed fix. Sorry.
Well that sucks.
What kind of a connection are you on?
Cable, but i have to use a wireless router. Connection to the internet is great.

You're not alone with the connection problem message...it sure is annoying. The message, stupidly enough, doesn't necessarily mean there really is something wrong with your connection. In my case, I get the message when my processor reaches 100% usage and can't handle any more. (Considering that I get the message a lot more often when I play 2142 bears this out.)
Anyway I'd suggest the same stuff EA will suggest if you ask them. Exit all unused programs before you play. To be on the safe side (ironically enough), disable your antivirus program as well. If your sound card is integrated, in order to take pressure off the CPU (ironically enough again) set your sound to Software acceleration.
Of course, to completely get rid of the connection problem message, the sad truth is you have to send your current machine to the scrapheap and get a better rig.

Thanks Kefra. Anyway my problem could be because im running 64-bit windows cause im an idiot and didnt pay attention to the pkg i was getting.
mostly, connection problems come due to "burps" in routers or Server package Burps. And BF2 rarely has the ability to compensate for the fraction of a second loss in connection leaving you with a "connection problem" thus dropping you from the server.
I had a feeling that might be it, cause ill lose for a couple seconds then it will be fine and then time to time i lose it completely.
I notice that sometimes my connection problem happens ALOT then other times it never happens. And its not my internet since i play other online games.
Also under one of the options you can select which type of connection you have, either "Cable 256kpbs [sic] or better" or "T1 (LAN)". In frustration I changed from the correct "Cable" to the "T1" setting, and it seemed to smooth out my connection problems a bit. You can try it if you like, I doubt it'll screw things up any worse, in any case.
