Yes you can, as long as you have the correct connect. I have either a 17" or 19" monitor, and a 32" TV connected to my computer.

Yes, but not different resolutions, unless some program you can get will work, otherwise it always runs on the highet resolution that both can cope with.

Half-false. For 'clone' display, as in the same thing on both screens, naturally they have to be the same res. For Extended Desktop, it can be anything and you just click which monitor and use the slider under dubbs instructions.

you click "extend my desktop over this monitor" (its a check box on the settings tab in display.) its not that difficult to figure out really...there are 2 check boxes right below the resolution. be sure you select different monitors from the drop-down box.
Nvidia's software also has a drop down with four different view settings to choose from. You have clone, vertical span, horizontal span, and dual view.

You know if you extend the desktop, is there any way if your playing BF2 on one screen to prevent completely minimising when you click the desktop of the other one? (hope that made sense)
Is there a way to have an extended desktop, but run one application on one monitor, and leave the rest just a normal desktop. Like, if ther are two different resolutions, I cant play a game on both monitors at the smae time, so can I say use one for a word doc., and the other for a game? If that made sense...
The only games you can play like that are the ones that can be re-opened from Alt+Tab, because a game has to relinquish control of the keyboard and moose. But yes, if you Alt+Tab you have a moose at desktop and you can click on what you want. (Games usually only load on Primary Display (1)).

you see, 2 different monitors. one 1440x900 (left) the other 1280x1024 (right). once you are in-game, the mouse is bound to the center of the screen, so you cannot accidentally alt-tab, unless the mouse is activated (right click on spawn screen or scoreboard). and if you have NOT deleted your movies, you can alt-tab just fine.
