I dunno how many of you guys run this program, I find it OK is I wanna test for artifacts in windows.

But, the weird thing is, that if your CPU multiplier is locked (90% of CPUs) then the option to increase the multiplier is greyed out. If I'm not mistaken the Intel c2d 6400 has a locked multiplier, but I do have the option to increase it. The only thing is, if I do increase it, it doesn't work.

Hmm, any suggestions or has Asus fked up?

Just use ATITool to test for artifacts.

Yeah, AI booster is ok for a basic overclock, although it's pretty crappy too. If you want to do it the good way I would recommend through your BIOS ...

Except for extreme edition models, which you don't have. You can only set multipliers downwards though.

You won't get artifacts from over clocking your CPU.

Also, don't use programs to over clock...they are unreliable, and unstable. Use the BIOS for a rock-solid over clock.
