Hello guys, I got suspended from school and my asshole teacher sent me home a little quiz that is worth 200 points. The problem is, is that he taught this stuff when I was out. I told him that I wasn't there, but he doesnt care. So can anybody please help me with any of these problems??? Karma for all who helps!!!

ok...so the ones that are marked with pencil, you've done. I won't do those.
b) tan y= 1.7601...that gives you 1.7601xtan-1 which results in 60.4o

I'm not going to help you, just a tip: you can use the sines law and/or pythagoras theorem

Its not too bad at all

Just remeber Sine Rule (a/sin a = b/sin b = c/sin c) and Cosine Rule (a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2bcCosA)

EDIT: Oh yes, where you have a right angle triangle (ie g and h) you can use c^2 = a^2 + b^2) and SOH CAH TOA

First year was algebra we didnt learn anything about this stuff

by the way this is a cake walk. i'll set you up, but i won't finish them. you've heard of SOHCAHTOA right?
you may need to study a bit if you're running into trouble with this stuff.

D) first of all, add the 17/6 to 5/2 on the right side. divide by 2/3 to solve for x. this problem had nothing to do with trig.

G) sin 57 = 239/x

H) tan y = 36.8/22

2. draw a triangle. tan32.8 = x/40.

3. same triangle as (2). sin64 = x/65

It's 8.  Zimmer put 17 instead of 17/6
