Hi,

I've got a little prob. with bf2.
When I want to play bf2 with my friend (who lives 2 streets away and who has his own bf2 with no CD-key crack or so)and I try to connect the server the white line starts to become bigger and bigger ... untill join game shows up -> then i click join game and they the returns to the multiplayer menu and shows " no server selected" and when I closed that message it says " INVALID CD-Key" ---> WTF!!!
Does anyone knows how that's possible.

If you installed the game under a different user than your playing it on that sometimes happens. I mean the users when you log into windows

Are you by any chance trying to play Euro Forces? I know there is a big problem with that game if you didn't register it under the right account name through Gamespy, if thats it I'll explain more or link you. Can you play single player at all?

Either way what your probably gonna have to do is just reinstall everything, then install BF2, SF (if u have it) & then the latest patch.

It happens to me quite often. You have to go in your Bf2 Folder, then Open Support, click Battlefield2_code.exe and enter your CD Key. Everything should be fine.

....or Maybe I forgot something, i'll edit my message then.

WTf man you said I had to retype the Cd-key in the support folder now I did that and now I can't join any server wtf

I know, you have to do something else but I can't exactly remember. I think you have to download something and that's what I'm trying to find.

First, try to re-apply the latest patch.
If that doesn't work, do a complete uninstall / install procedure.

Look at badhq's post, download the file , enter your key launch the file (nothing will happen, it's normal) then it should work. If it does not work, You'll probably have to reinstall.
