G'day,

So I've been IP banned from a particular game I play. Is there any ways to get around IP bans using proxys? All I can find is proxys to access websites that are IP banned.

Um, then you are not using a real proxy.

a proxy wont get you into a game with an IP, as most only get you around web blockers.... i THINK its possible to change your IP by just unplugging your network card, and plugging it back in (restarts required)

ive done that before and it changed my IP address, give it a shot, couldnt hurt

If not, you could just change your IP on your own, but im not 100% sure that will work, pm me if you wanna try it and ill walk you through it to see if it works...

If your IP is not static I think if you reset your modem it will bounce.... not sure, I have a static .

If you have a router better reset that too, the router will with hold DNS query's and try to obtain the previous IP. "I have a linux router, and had the same IP for 4 years, I have a dynamic IP". Also, make sure you leave the devices(s) down for several minutes, 15 or so.
