Hello, I have just bought a second DVD rom. I connected data cable going from the first into the second and then to the mobo. However, it only shows one of them in my computer, and it doesnt play or show dvds from the top one. How do I get it so both will show/ work?
There is a jumper on the back of the drive, set one to SLAVE

Ok I see what you mean, but how do I change its setting? There are little metal prongs...
You use a jumper, which is a very small plastic "plug" that will connect two of those metal prongs.Onidax wrote:

You ought to just put them both on cable select, it's easier that way.
