20+4 Supports 20 and 24 Pin. (You may need another 4 Pin though for your power connector)
24 Pin only supports 24.

yes, i've seen a 24 pin connector many times. poor generic psus normally have 24pin.

You can still fit a 24 pin onto a 20 pin board, just the extra 4 pins hang over the edge.
