Look at every IO thread ever. There will be at least ten IO players saying how it's better without the vehicle whores.

Thats not the vehicles fault its the fact that wake is the worst and most unbalanced of all the BF2 maps. Ohh and how many IO wake games have you played?

Yeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that those 2 players per team are really only stoppable by the matching 2 from the other team. This isn't 1.2, any pilot wih an IQ over 50 can avoid AA. Next down the list are the choppers. Weak to jets (2), other choppers (1), and more susceptible to AA (pretty much max of 2 that can be in range if the pilot isn't a moron). So that's 5 per team that can take down a chopper. The other 27 people on the team are still just pure fodder. No, don't say AT. Yes we've all seen choppers go down to AT rockets, but if someone was stupid enough to be flying that slowly and that close to the ground, odds are they were going to crash within the next 20 seconds anyway because they don't have a clue how to fly. APC/Tanks? Weak to jets, choppers, ground defense and AT/Spec. So, 5 + whatever number of people are wasting their time playing AT. Spec Ops hasn't been good against vehicles since the C4 throwing nerf. The only time they are going to get a kill is by jihad jeeping, which I fully approve of because it pisses off the armor whores to no end. Anyway, that really just puts us right back in to the armor convoy vs teamwork argument, which has already been done several times, so I'm not going into it again.
Vodnik/HMMWV/DPV > than heli. The .50 caliber gun on the roof will take down a helicopter very quickly. If you start shooting when he's facing away, by the time he's facing you, he'll probably be smoking. Also, the jeeps are small and very maneuverable and it is very easy to hide in one of them. Also, any vehicle driver with a brain stem isn't going to have a big issue with ground defense. AT really isn't that difficult to play, either. A couple rockets in the back or the tracks, and the tank is gone. Just hide and move around and AT can take down a tank with ease.

If i want infantry il play CSS which is superior in infantry aspect. If i want vehicles I play BF2 very simple.

I'm assuming by "everyone else" you mean those who aren't big fans of Infantry Only?

I've recently been going 2:1 and sometimes 3:1 with the L85A1 on this quaint Warlord server. And I also classify myself as a "vehicle whore" and "not a big fan of Infantry Only". I'd say I'm a rather well-rounded player. I just appreciate BF2 for its full spectrum rather than playing "maimed mode". Seriously, did you pay $50 for BF2 hoping for it to be CS:S with different weapons?

IO is fun, its something different, its alot easier. I dont care what anyone says, a good jet pilot / chopper pilot is harder to go up against then a great infantry player while on the ground. I mean how hard is it to take a jet down when your infantry or armor? A good pilot can shoot the AA guns before you even get a lock. the AA armor is very weak to jet fire.  And are you going to waste a rocket at a jet thats bombing you? But jets, tanks, choppers are the reason BF2 is the best game out, IMO.

IO is like a warm up or somthing you can play not so sobber and you dont have to worry about arty or being bombed.

Link me to instances where that is happening, because I'm a ground pounder, yet i despise BF2's IO with all my heart.
