Hi, Me and mi cousin have a LAN together running BF2 Patch 1.3 (1.3 because I had it and because you need an up-to-date patch to run Sandbox )

BUT... Both me and him get CTD's and I know that out there is a Command prompt that solves this, it was in BF2 help (before the forum was reorgaised) as a skicky, a post with several other fixes.

If anyone can give me a link to the post/website where I can download it I'd be extremly greatful.

why 1.3?

Sandox runs on 1.41 aswell

ohh and dont use that

download a program called Hamachi

do t for both you and your brother

it then gives you an IP adress from one computer to another

then one of you has to create a local server and the other one needs to type the ip adress into the join IP box

then u dont need to configure all the ports as that does it for you

aswell you dont need to be on a LAN for this 2 work if you have anyfriends that want to join aslong as they have Hamachi aswell they can join in your game

its like having a gigantic LAN all around the world with that program

its great

I know that Sandbox runs 1.41 but its over half a gig

And thats for that advice on 'Himache'(?) lol

It was a swine to set up the IP, Sub-Net etc
