If the guy in the tank was doing it to keep the HIND/Apache from taking off, then fair enough. Its a common tactic - and a very good one at that. Although I usually see it with the APC and snipers with M95's.

If hes keeping an Apache out the air for a whole round...I would say that that is definitly worth doing. If the rest of the team cant keep any flags without helis ripping em up, then they deserve to lose if you ask me.

hold up - you do realise only the commander gets double points. Unless you play commander those x2 wont affect you. Hence no one plays for the team.

Only combat stat-obsessed idiots don't team-play. Personally, I LIKE winning. And team play gives me more points, making me closer to the next unlock.

Not really. So i bought the game does that mean i can cheat if i wanted to? Anyways the thing with spawn camping is spawn somewhere else. Hes obviously helping his team if you cant use your chopper.

well here's the thing.....if you relize your getting spawn raped then DON'T SPAWN AT THAT FLAG!  the only time you're allowed to bitch is if ur on your last flag and getting raped and even then the round is pretty much over...otherwise ......you and the rest of your team give up that one particular flag and spawn else where with AT and what not!!! 


Thats the beauty of this game......

Get your commander to drop some arty on him if he's bugging you... or take some time to sneak around and put some mines under his treads.    C4 is always good... just gotta sneak up on him, put 4 or 5 for good measure on his ass, and then get pretty far back.   Sit there and plink at his butt with your silenced pistol until you see the turret turning toward you.... then blow his ass back to 6th grade.   

If someone's being an ass, they're probably not being very smart... so outsmart them.

Rewind : - Thread starter  is not complaining about enemy base raper.  He is complaining about teammate's use of armor.

Did you ask for help at other location ?  Either as commander or squadleader or squadmember ?

As Snake hinted - perhaps he was keeping their Heli down.

FYI : There are several players who will gladly drive away after you ask for a ride.
        There are several medics who will not heal you.
        There are several support troops that will not give you ammo.
        There are several engys that won't repair your side's assets or fix your ride.
        There are those that punish for accidental TKs.
        There are commanders that drop arty on your guys.
        There are players who will stand in front of your jet or shoot you outta the cockpit.
        There are teams that are crummy .. ... 
        blah blah blah

Maybe 4 or 5 players out there actually play well together.  Heh.

hahaha... some of these replies are great!  btw, who the hell is reefl3x, and why does he have so much sand in his vagina?  i was just posting cuz i'm bored at work, waiting for my next bf2 fix.  i was only bitching about this armor whore dude cause he was even noober than i am, and i mean he wasn't hitting shit with the tank... the sad part is that we did own the flag, he was just shooting at random enemies who were trying to take it back.  not really worth it on a 32 man server, when the action was cleary around convoy and the SAS base.  oh well, off to ghost town, hopefully that dude ain't there.

I'm a firm believer that given the opportunity spawn campers should be kidnapped !  Repeatedly ! Until they understand just how it feels to be raped.

Eventually these ass clowns will get the message and finally start to develope some skill.
