Shit just looked myself (I was on my laptop) and I can't find an exe. I'll look around for a file though. Can't uninstall it if it don't know how

Okay how's this way:
Get CCleaner from here

Under Tools it has Uninstall, with the options:
Run Uninstaller
Rename Entry
Delete Entry

Now you could delete it, but what happens if you need to uninstall because of a patch or something? I recommend you rename it to something inconspicuous like 'Windows Fault Prevention Module' or something that sounds like it needs to be there.

Just to be sure, rename your BF2 folder when its not in use. That way, if they attempt to remove it, A/RPs will crack the sads.

Okay I figured out where it puts it. Its all in a collective known as "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information"

What you'll need to do is a Search. There's two fields on the left, one is ...file name..., the other is A word or phrase in the file

Choose the later and search for battlefield, which will result in setup.ini to pop up (or more if you have another in the BF series)

Right click > Open Containing Folder and rename setup.exe to jibrish.

No muss, no fuss.

Depends on how computer legible your parents are, if they fucking code for a living. Give up.

But if your parents are the kind that only know the Add/Remove, and wont touch the system files, get that UI thing, remove A/R and HIDE THE FOLDER!!

Wait whats whis? LOLOLOLOLOL bf2 doesnt even show up add/remove programs EVER since i had to get my computer fixed, they put all teh memory on an external harddrive and then re-installed windowws this put all the HD files in a folder on the desktop, so i installed BF2142, and IT shows up on Add/r-move programs. Anyway, its not bothering me.

I take it youre on xp?  If you are, do you have your own login thingy? if so just password that... how oftem do your parents use the computer and what do they do on it? if you password your area, and they are uninstalling it from theirs, when you next reinstall, dont install it for all users, and they wont have access to uninstall it.. but if you all use the same area then ya fucked unless you use that tweak thing

Maybe you could just like, appologise for what you did and say it wont happen again...and maybe, just maybe they will let you keep bf2... or do what i do, just say "yeah well im gonna keep putting it on so youre wasting your time."

They'll soon give up

How about going into the registry, and deleting the key that tells windows that BF2 is installed.

DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK.....

# Go into the registry,
#HKEY Local Machine -> software
# Click the plus sign next to Microsoft.
# Click the plus sign next to Windows.
# Click the plus sign next to CurrentVersion.
# Click the plus sign next to Uninstall.
# Right-click on the key named {04858915-9F49-4B2A-AED4-DC49A7DE6A7B} andchoose Delete.
# A Confirm Key Delete window will appear, choose Yes.
# Close the WindowsRegistry Editor.
# Go to the following folder: C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information (If you cannot find this folder you may have to go to Tools > Folder Settings and click the setting to “SHOW hidden folders.”)
# Find the folders with the exact same values as the registry keys above and delete them.

Do as your parents tell you, its for your own good!

Alternatively, set up a load of passwords, starting from BIOS, all the way to Windows. That'll teach them.

Like it says on your sig 'Remember... BF2 is just a game!'

Give it up for a while or cut down, that will make your parents happy

Why don't you remove shortcuts and install it at c:\program files\homework
Should work like a charm.
