Holy shit most of you guys get pretty decent gifts! Game systems, guitars! Hell, for my nineteenth birthday I got a pair of gloves and the most anoying alarm clock in the worl,d ($5.99 from The Warehouse - not that I'm complaining mind you, it gets me up wheras a more uh, subtle alarm would not.) This Christmas all I can hope for is that my parents don't kick me out of the house.

i'm getting a new case, monitor, some HD's, a x-fi xtrememusic and assorted shit from my parents for xmas (getting a car from them for my b-day in 4 Days).
any one have any good ideas for xmas presents? i still have a few favors to spend (no further pc upgrades please, i'll upgrade in about 6months anyhow) from my grandparents, aunts, friends, ...

oh belive me i do. i just bought my lappy from money i worked hard to get. that was pretty satisfying. i also payed for most of my opty rig (i gave my old pc to my dad, so he bought the x1900xt for me). same will go for my upgrade next summer (I'd upgrade now but the money i have is going to be spent on gifts).JE3146 wrote:

but now is xmas and my bday and its time for gifts. and i also shell out quiet a bit of my money on gifts. buying stuff from your money is great. giving gifts bought from your own money and getting the stuff that you were hoping for is even better.
EDIT: yeah the car is somewhat overkill, but i made a deal with my parents years ago and their just keeping their promise

I bought myself a pretty new computer & even paid an extra thousand dollars just to get a little alien head that lights up (the lights are blue & the case is shiny black, yayz).
My brother & I both got TV's when I was like 10 & the year before that I got a Teddy Ruxpin (did i spell his last name right?) bear but my faggot brother broke his bottom jaw off but I think that's it. Poor me huh?
I'm not a big holiday fan because I hate sitting through those awkward dinners with my whole family (i spent 2 years in jail awhile ago & now they look at me like I'm a criminal & they all hold their purses & stuff, it's embarrassing).
Does anybody here just get to sit at home by themselves (or with girlfriend/wife) on Christmas or do you all have to do the family thing too?
