ok my dads go a 9800pro all-in-wonder is there a way to find out the temp of this card. iam using ati tray tools but it dosent show any thing

From what I can find via Google, only 9800XTs and newer cards have temp sensors built in.
Try speedfan.

As Stillhouse said, only the newer cards have temperature nodes in them. No software is going to tell you. You'll have to do like the above, rectal thermometer or get one of those front panel things and stick the diode on the chip.
Haven't tried SpeedFan, but MBM will not see anything (but it is old).

Some cards have them built in but disabled. Like my old 6600, you could flash the card's BIOS and enable it, but if the sensor ain't there it ain't there.
old cards don't got temp moniters, like my 9550. If you're really concerned take the cover off and put ur hand on it, it's a cheap card so frying it doesn't matter to me.
