Now im going for the war college ribbon, I have the commander hours and just need the 2:1 Win loss ratio.
Heres my question, If you were on a team that was about to lose and you disconnected before the round ended, and the team you were on lost, would the loss count against you even after you disconnected?

EDIT:Merry Christmas!!11

Yup, if you play for a minimum of 5 mins in a round your stats get registered even if you DC.

Easy answer - No.

What I'd do though, if i were you....was if my team was obviously gonna lose, I'd resign as commander and get in the fight!

Been that way since the dawn of BF2.

I'm assuming the same stands for 2142, being that it's coded by the same lazy losers.

EDIT: Typo.

The answer is "Yes" - this comes from someone who earned the WCR under the old requirements where you needed a 3:1 win:loss ratio.

But, what are you talking about with a 2:1 ratio? There is no win:loss ratio needed under the new requirements. All you need is:

100h command time
200 wins
25,000 command points

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought I was in the BF2 forum.

Ohh..I feel like a jackass.  I didn't even realize this was a 2142 question.  Haha...I have no idea.  I'd listen toto The EternalPessimist in this case...

Based on the previous two answers...maybe.  I actually don't know, but I've heard that your time per team is tracked and whichever team you spend the most time on is the team you get the win or loss with.  Don't know if this is true or not and have no idea how to find out...Maybe start a second account and do some testing.  Get on a server, wait till about 5 ticks left in the round (lets say you're winning) and then try to switch to the losing team.  If the switch is successfull, just get off and check your stats.  See if you got the win for spending the majority of time on that team.  Or if you got the loss, you know that it only matters which team you end the round with.

I know this sounds like a pain in the ass, but otherwise I don't think you'll get a straight answer.  Then you could come back here  and educate us all.
