I tried searching for this but if there's a topic that ANSWERS my question, please redirect me.
Ever since I got BF2142, I loved the pin idea. Ever since day 1, I've been trying to get them all at least once. Well, unlike the badges, medals, and ribbons, I can't get them too easy. I say that because, for example, just a few minutes ago I tried getting the Close Combat Pin. 10 Shotgun kills IAR. Well, with the Herzog, I killed TWENTY TWO people with it. I killed 24 total since 2 were with FRG-1. Is it just 10 kills with Shotgun IAR or is there something more? I find that if I get the kills without dying, I get the medal instantly. Otherwise, nothing happens. I always get more than 5 headshots with sniper rifle IAR but I've only recieved that pin once and that was when I got them all without dying.
Is it just glitchy regarding the pins or is there something I'm missing? Another wierd thing is that I got Explosive Gallantry Badge Bronze before I got Explosives Efficiency Pin. *confused*
