Quick Question about CoH

How do I make tanks! God! I can't do much cuz all I got is stupid riflemen and engies, I need some tanks!

How do I get them?

Anytime I go to attack, a Panzer always pops up and I'm finished, because I don't know how to make a tank! lol, help please.

Got to create the supply yard, motorpool, then tank depot as US.

I forget the Germans I haven't played them as much. Same guise though.

If you are axis, you have to upgrade to battle phase in the HQ. Simple enough just, when you have enough resources, go up to SKIRMISH PHASE, then the next and so on, eventually you will reach the tank depot and be able to build it.
For US you have to build a supply yard. I don't think you need to the motor pool though.

Because its not possible to get that far in the game without thinking to perhaps do the tutorials that tell you everything or having been told how to in a mission.

Buddy, I did the turtorials. The armor tutorial just tells you what to do with your tanks once you have them, not how to make one.

If you're just in normal mode (not skirmish) then you have to build a supply yard then a tank depot.

You dont need to build a motor pool (as mentioned in someone elses post)

Don't think so, just Supply Yard, then Tank Depot.

I love the Blitzkrieg Doctrine, you can get yourself a bunch of tigers and those sturmtroopers are pretty fun when you have 5-6 squads of them in camo, all armed with 2 panzerfausts, and then SURPRISE

No, cuz I'll have 3 tigers to help me!

I prefer zee german team over the Americans, I just find them better.

My typical offensive team would be:

2 Panzer IV's and one panther (elite) (or tigers, depending on doctrine)
2-3 Granadier or Sturmtrooper squads
2-4 SdKfz 251 Walking Stuka
One sniper to scout ahead for my walking stukas

I loved finding a good camping position, put up some MG42 troopers, one or two AT guns and throw in some Nebelwerfers , althought the M1 Howitzer that the allies can make as infantry division has more range.

Rocket artillery and V1 strikes are pointless IMO, cost too much munition.

Flak guns are very fun if placed correctly, awesome range, just no bombard option.

This game is soo awesome, I like going down to ground view and watch my soldiers fight.
