Logitech Attack 3 Problem..

Well i just got this joystick (Logitech Attack 3).

Plug it into the USB, nothing happens, so i go to logitech website and download the Attack 3 setup program.. and it still doesn't detect its plugged in.

-Yes i've plugged and un-plugged it many times checking if its that.
-I'm running Windows XP.

Any help at all gets karma .

Sounds to me your usb port may be bad. Are you able to add a flash drive that recognizes it in the same usb port? Have you tried using a different usb port? Plug in the joystick and reboot your computer. It should recognize it. If it doesnt go to control panel/ systems/ hardware/ there click for hardware changes and it will do an auto detect. I hope this helps. I got the same joystick and I would die if it didnt work. PM if you need more help.

Thanks for help, but i managed to get it working, i worked it down to it being a problem with joystick.. unscrewed it, and one of the white connectors was dis-connected.. no idea how though, it was brand new from Game( the shop ).

just wanna ask, anyone here using xbox 360 for pc?, cuz i want to get pro evo and i need a controller, I am thinking abut the 360 one xD

did u install the software with the joystick to? i have the same joystick and mine did the same thing, i had to install the software first, then plug it into usb
