So Mom brought back some pictures of my Grandma's home town in Larvik, Norway, where my folks went for a summer trip:
Mom: "Here's one of the dock my cousin built".
Mom: "Here's the street your Grandma's house was".
Mom: "Here's the outside of her house".
There were four pictures of the roof over the doorway at different angles.
Me: "You took a lot of pictures of the roof".
Mom: "I liked the blue shingles. Might look good on our house, right?"
Me: "Ummm...Mom, didn't Grandma's dad die when he fell off the roof when she was three?"
Mom: "Oh...yeah...didn't think about that..."
She didn't think that was strange...I thought so...am I wrong?
