Night Vision Question

got a stupid question.. Does the night vision only work on night maps and if so, can u take it off? Or are u capable of toggling it on/off like a gasmask? I know it's an idiot question perhaps, but I haven't been able to play on night maps yet ( unless Ghost Town is a night map .. )

I'd appreciate an answer on this idiot question ;-)

freaky, and u're capable of using it on any SF map?
'cuz I know that 8 is the gasmask, tried 7 but nothing happened ..

Nope. Night Vision only works on the maps Leviathan, Night Flight, and Devil's Perch. I have mine rebound to Q, I think...

Night vision maps do, in my opinion, really bite, it's a snipe fest and the games last forever. You have to stop for it to recharge so it's prime for snipers when you can't see period.
