The PKM is the only weapon that I can go on 20 person killing streaks without using any vehicles. I kill snipers at long range, ANYBODY at medium range, and most people at close range. It took me several months to really get used to it, but when I did my KDR with support just started shooting up.

I have yet to over heat the PKM. I find it best to fire in 8 second bursts.
