Yes, assuming that he'll be treated normally like any other soldier he will be a target. But he won't, he'll have many men protecting him who will be "ordered" to do so.

The Telegraph said officials are trying to figure out how to minimise the danger without giving Harry special treatment.

They can't becuase they have too much fucking blind patriotism and want to keep an image. He has no right being there, just another liability. Me personally would treat him 100% like everyone else.  But you know how things actually work.....

Fucking stupid. I'd be well pissed if I had to protect him. It's things like this that stop me from going anywhere near the military. Fuck that.

I think he'll be fine if he's a good soldier and been through training. It said he was a second leiutenant, so he's obviously had some sort of preparation, right? 4 light tanks and 11 men, I'd say if anything happens to him it'll be an IED and then he'll still be ok.

Actually you must remember the Boat Service, the Navies equivalent and on par with the SEALs, the SRR for reconnaissance, the Signals and Aviation groups of the Special forces and the SFSG who provided infantry suppot to the Special forces.

I believe Delta Force is the equiv of the SAS.

During WW2 Australia had to flush out the Japanese out of PNG for the British, because the Japanese outsmarted them.  And to think the British base there was stationed to protect Australia.

That is the problem.  He does not deserve "extra" security, he is a soldier like the man next to him.

I think that its cool Harry is gonna go do this. However I criticize that it is public information as to where he will be deployed.  I recognize how hard it would be to keep it a secret,  but I think it would be in best interests to him and his men.
