BF2S Forums Can someone PLEASE HELP ME?????

Wait till the stats are fully updated..go into a server get atleast one point and there is your promotion..

yes, we can all see im a noob at bf2...please dont make a comment if thats already stated clearly..and lol you pick on noobs at forums? lol is that what you do all day? does it make you feel better about yourself?

you need some  medals for that i think

Especially during Holidays and Weekends it sometimes takes hours for the stats to be registered with EA... be patient.

Also, after You've passed a rank threshold (check the BFHQ in-game), disconnecting completely (server AND user account) before starting the next round sometimes helps, too.

Oh, and one last piece of advise:

There'll be a lot of flaming heading Your way (i.e. stfu, n00b, wh4t3v3r...) here in bf2s...

Hence, do Yourself (and everybody else here) a favor by following these simple rules:

• First check BF2S' UBAR to see all requirements for Your next rank
• Or use the search function before posting a question, i.e. "rank AND award" (without the quotes)
• Then, if You still need/want to post, be a bit more articulate in Your topic subject, i.e. "Please help: rank not awarded"
• If You run english as a second f#cking language: use the spell checker, cororal!
• And finally: ignore those morons that do nothing but to insult You and derail Your thread

Welcome to BF2S. As RDMC said, just go into a server and kill someone (shock paddles are the best way to get promotions, there's no benefit it's just humiliating for the guy you kill).

So BF2 was the first time you ever played online?  All FPS shooters are pretty much the same.  You aim and click.  Unless you are a complete retard or just plain stupid, moving from game to game online shouldn't make u a "rookie" when first playing it. 

Indeed it was. For me anyways. And I tried to play CS:S and i still suck at it. they are different games - you need to use different tactics, not just point and shoot (maybe moving from UT to painkiller or Quake 3) But you need to learn deviation of guns, how to control it, ect. There different in all games. Nearly everyone i know who plays BF2 that has tried to play CS:S for the first time gets there arse owned. And still suck until at least 100 hours in.

I understand if you move from BF2 > bf2142 because their pretty much the same, just different maps and a few slight changes. I would also understand if you played CS 1.6 and then went to Source, because their reasonably similar. Playing Unreal Tournament > Other related games (quake, doom, painkiller ect) you would still own reasonably well because again, their similar. But going from CS > Bf2 or CS > UT you would get your arse kicked for awhile.
