Why I use Firefox (IE7 problem).

So I'm a total FF user, never use IE7, but this morning I downloaded it to see what it was like, and to see how much it had 'skanked' Firefox.

Downloaded and installed fine. Started it up....and i get this:

Uninstalled and reinstalled...still the same, I've messed around with the toolbars etc but it just stays with a bit of my desktop showing through.

It's no big deal....but I'm the kinda person who likes everything working as best as possible!

So anyone got any ideas?

I can't see how it can be that

Could it be anything to do with monitor settings possibly?

(I run it on 1360x768 res.)

Opera is better than FF when you get the hang of mouse-only surfing. It has lots of features, but FF is better if youre not going to use them.

Keep it installed, but not as the default browser, in case you install anything from EA. They don't like firefox.

As I said at the top of the post I am sticking with FF I was only seeing what IE7 was like.

I was just keeping IE up to date for websites that don't work with FF.

And if it's just my theme...then....thats annoying!

Ditch IE all together. Get the IE Tab extension for FF, and you will never have to worry about internet exploder ever again.

Uninstalling IE is like uninstalling pacemaker, just leave installed, and only use it when you need to access stubborn site that require it.

BTW ... IMO ... I wouldn't be loyal to any piece of software, either can change at any time for better or for worse, and loyalty will cloud your ability to make a proper evaluation.

IE7 OWNS firefox... why? one simple, simple word... FLASH
Don't tell me you have no problems with flash animations in firefox, cos I've got it installed and the only way to get flash movies to play right, is to right-click them

and for those microsoft bashers out there - can you guess how long firefox has had this issue?
