hey guys when i want to server that one of my buddies on xfire is playing on i click on join game but it dosent play in my resolution i want.  the thing is i have +szx 1440 +szy 900 added onto my bf2 icon on my desktop so it will play in that resolution.  how do i get it to play on that resolution through xfire, ive looked in the tools part of xfire and all it does is look for the location i have bf2 installed onto not the axtual .exe.

Maybe you could edit the executable command line? Get the point, instead of the shortcut try the executable, thats what xfire runs imo... Sorry for bad english.

EDIT":Hmm never mind this post, I see you cant do that with executables.. Just letting my thoughts float

yeah i tried that but it just says bf2 in the .exe

fixed the problem

what i did was opened up the video.con file in my profiles and put the resolution to 1440x900 there and it worked fine.

p.s. it just ctd the first time as i didnt leave a space after the 1440x900 for the @70htz so if anyone does this remeber and leave a space

You could also go to Tools > Options > Games, then click your BF2 and in the command line, put what you want.
