defending silos or attacking titan

i was having a few games of titan this morning, and my team was doing really well at capturing the silos and taking there shield down, however as soon as the shield went down almost all of the team went straight to there titan and started to bash it. so as soon as that started we then lost most of the silos apart from the ones me and my squad of 2 was attacking, end result 3 times in a row was, we destroyed there shield everyone went to there titan apart from a few, they gained most of the silos back destroyed our shield, jumped on our titan destroyed our ship LOST

so my question is, do you keep defending silos, or jump straight onto there titan

I will normally go for the titan as fast as i can to try and take it out before they set up a good defense. but if we start loosing everything on the ground or they are on our titan and my team isnt doing shit then i will defend or get silos.

this one is a tough one, i normaly do what the rest of my team ISN'T doing, as there is more points in it that way. IE if most of the team is defending, then i don't even bother. And attacking unless im in a full and decent sqaud its a waste of time, as all you are doing is givin a huge number of points to the defenders/

If i can get my white arse into a walker, I won't get out of it no matter what. The only problem if you team is doing all three well, you don't get as many points. A few rounds we have been attacking, with say 4-6 guys defending and my squad holding all the silos. Needless to say i scoreed quite low... no silo defends

Null vote, i do neither. I focus mainly on my role and the way to get to the next ribbon/award so i get my bonuses quicker.
I'm sorry, but i want certain items so i can play the game the way i want to. When i have the stuff i need, i can finally focus on being be a real team-player.
Not that I'm not one now, i will do everything within my role to be an asset to the team, but i will not chance roles to suit the needs of the team or faze of the game.

The problem with the system of badges and ribbons etc. is that everyone has his own agenda.
If you need a certain amount of explosive kills, you'll run to your Titan because that's the place where people are most likely to die because of your explosives. Same goes for healing and resupply.

I think that when you put a group of people together and give them a fixed set of gear and let them play for the highest score, you'll see a totally different kind of game then when you play it like it is now.
I'm not saying the way it is now is bad, but it influences the game a lot.

The best way to go now, i think, is a 66/33 ratio. keep all your forces attacking the silos and a small squad defending the Titan. I only play Titan, and i see that the chance you have to blow an enemy Titan out of the air with silos is much bigger then when you attack the core.

The second the enemy shields go down your team SHOULD rush the titan in an all out assault. Most teams are not smart enough to get defenses set right before their shield drops, and it takes a couple minutes before they start spawning there and defending. (You always want to take out the bottom two console's first because they're the easiest to defend, and the hardest to attack.) You only want to go back to defending silo's if you get bottlenecked at a console or the core room and are having serious trouble trying to break through.

When I used to play Titan mode I would mostly stick to Titan attack/defend. Because no matter how dumb the fight in the small Titan gets, its still better than 3vs3 combat on the ground.

First try to attack it, when its just full of defending fucks with APM's and RDX's then I will return to the silo's..

yesterday while playing titan with 1 other clanmate, our titan shield went down so our whole team and the whole enemy team went for our titan. a minute later the enemy shield went down. so me and my clanmate attack the titan. he was support and i was recon. the enemy only had 1 person trying to defend. so me and my clanmate easily killed him and continued to take out all the consoles and then the core without much of a struggle. yay for defensless titans! i love it when people only focus on one thing and dont pay attention to what else is going on in the game.

Ive got my titain and conq commander gold. and while I was commanding titian. I even trpe in big yellow letters thier shield or our one is down. and say over VIOP and its takes AGES for people to do anything. So we ahve lost the element of surprise and all that. Good it drove me insane, Some rounds i was the only one attacking or defending. LOL

You win to loss get really hurt if you do keep silos. If you own the Silos you win more often.
