i'm so pissed, my brand new laptop can hardly run it even though i'm able to run bf2 and f.e.a.r. smoothly on almost the highest settings, dangit if this is the benchmark for new games

Mine runs fine, I get between 40 & 75 depending on the map. I wasn't aware there was a problem with it, I kinda hope there is now though because it'd be nice to get approx. 80fps like BF2

One of the best games I've ever played. So many styles that you can attack with, so many weapons, so many options. The weapon variety is fucking awesome and I love the P90 and M8 personally. Gameplay is a bit hard but you'll get used to it

Lol I don't have Xbox live now though

Gears of War is for fast action paced, but Vegas is more tactical IMO. Both are great games.

this game is fucking sweet.... but no punkbuster or anything like that (yet) so theres quite a few hackers out there i got headshotted by the same guy 4 rounds in a row with a glock and he was like miles away... not really but from one building to the other on the unlv map after i would walk past a window

Do you have the latest drivers? I have an 8800 card and it is amazingly fast with all settings at highest.

Although during installation it did tell me my Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 wouldn't be fast enough lol! Fail.

I also had a good laptop that could run Oblivion on medium, but struggled with R6V

Just turn the graphics to lows and you should still get the play experience, but not teh graphix

I have the same video card, 2 gb of ram and a 3200+ 2.0ghz and it only lags for me at certian points. Sometimes after I fast rope out of the chopper, and sometimes when the chopper comes in low ready to hover. And every once in a while when I hit my thermal goggles if there are a bunch of guys in the room. But other than that it is running good on my system. Newegg has a 4000+ processor for around $80 with free shipping, I am thinking about picking one up to see if it will boost my performance.
