ok i have 2 XFX 6600GT's and there running on firmware 77.72, when i first got my second 6600GT i had a bit of a problem, because it was a different version to my origanal card. and 77.72 was only firmware that would work.

and others and the fan wouldnt work of my new card,

now im not sure witch ones it is it update.

any help appreciated

Having a bit of a problem understanding your question. All I'm sure of is that you're running 2 6600GTs with driver version 77.72.

If the fan on one card isn't working it's unlikely drivers have anything to do with it.

To update to new drivers, uninstall the old drivers, boot in Safe Mode and run Driver Cleaner Pro, then reboot normally and install the new drivers. This way none of the old drivers are left, possibly causing errors.

that is right exept, the only driver that made the fan turn and made the cards work was 77.72 i now want to update my drivers, but i dont know witch ones,

Yeah, they're the latest version, so they work with SLi.
