K I did search & the only topic I found was a year & a half old.

I ran speedfan & this is what I see:
https://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y242/MagikTrik1000/BF2s/SpeedFan.jpg

Now I'm not a real computer expert but that looks bad. Is there any way to cool it through software & if not what hardware do I need. I just bought this computer like a week ago & I really don't want it to die just yet so if I have to spend $100 or so to keep it alive then whatever, I just don't know what to get.

Speedfan lies at times.

From what I've heard, 100c is overheating. The system temp is about 136 degrees F. It wont kill your system but you still should get some more fans for the case or relocate it to a more ventilated place

That's pretty a lot for an AMD. I had up to 63°C with my Intel and the boxed cooler, and now I went down to 46°C because of my AC Freezer 7 Pro and some Arctic Silver thermal compound.

I don't think SpeedFan is reporting correctly, case in point: a 10,000+ RPM Sys Fan?

Make sure you have the correct config for your mobo. Click on the Info tab, then Get Config at the bottom and follow the instructions.

Room tempature never goes above 68F because I have a massive air-conditioning unit.

I guess SpeedFan doesn't support my motherboard or something like that, think that could be way I'm getting those readings?

What board have you got? I'll see if I can find the config for you.

53c under full load is nothing to worry about.

FoxConn nForce 590 SLI Motherboard

Motherboard Information

Manufacturer: alienware
Product: alienware
Serial Number: 1
Version: 2
Verified Hardware Device against Order: MB-FCNFORCE590SLI
Verify correct motherboard
Audio settings for DVD playback set to 4 Speakers
Power settings optimized

Is that enough information? I though it was an nForce 590 SLI motherboard but Kmarion politely informed me that's just the socket or chip or somethin.

Post your load temps. And what temp sensor is "Core"? Use motherboard monitor or something, not this piece of crap.

Yeah, that's just the chipset type need the actual model name/number. Try running Everest Home:

That should give more info on your mboard.

See where it says Speed01, Speed02, and Speed03, make those 100%, meaning your fans will run at 100%.

That might cool it down a bit.

Am gonna do that right now, my NVIDIA control panel has my CPU at 43C, SpeedFan has it at 52C &  Motherboard Monitor has it at 0C so I hope it's just the software being goofy & not my System actually having a high tempature.
