Hi, guys

I seem to be having real bad luck with my airsoft and bb guns. So, I returned my Deagle and decided to buy a gun from a more professional store like airsoft extreme. Place is awsome. Guns everywhere. Anyway, I decided to buy a cheap and nice AEG. So, I bought a MP7 for about $230(cheapest one they had). When I got home, I didn't know whether to charge my battery or not 'cause this was my first time buying an AEG. So, I first decided to fire the gun without charging the battery. It didn't work, so I decided to charge the battery for twenty minutes. It still didn't work. So, I called my older friend who knows a lot about airsofts and asked how long I should charge it. He said to charge it for about two hours( the guy in the store didn't tell me). I looked carefully and it clearly sais 2 hours in Japanese(I'm Korean but can read simple Japanese). So I charge the battery for hour and fourty-five minutes and try test firing again. Didn't work. After trying several times, I gave up and knew somthing was wrong with it. I don't know weather there was somthing wrong with the gun in the first place or weather I blew out the fuse (no smoke or anything electrical happened and nothing was hot). So, can you guys tell me the problem? BTW, I cannot fix it because I don't have the proper equipment.

Thanks

I think after the first thread we got the point, no need for a second and third.

Sry guys.. I had problems with my computer. Anyway, I will try to take it back to the store and ask for help. But the store opens on Tuesday and I'll be really busy starting Tuesday. I just want some genernal info about the battery and see if it was a mechanical breakdown or a blown-out fuse.

I don't think ur supposed to shoot the gun with a dead/nearly dead battery. The gun thinks it's got juice, the mechanisms start moving, but then are stopped in a not so "healthy" position. I've learned from 1st and 2nd hand experience.

On the charger look for some numbers.
look specifically for the amount of output the charger puts out. For example: "output: 300mA"
This is the output per hour of the charger. Check the battery, it should say what mAh it is. So if you have a charger with an output of 300 and a battery that is X.X volt 1200 mAh it will take 4 hours to charge.
If the gun still doesn't work then you may need to change the fuse. Airsoft guns use 15 amp fuses and they can be found at any hardware store for under 25 cents. The fuse is generally along the wires that run from the battery to the motor (probably easily found on the mp7). The fuse could have blown when you first used the gun but if that still doesn't fix it I'm pretty sure AEX has a 30 day replacement plan.

If there was no charge how could the fuse get  blown?

he said he charged it a little. I also know AEX lest you test fire their guns. someone may have test fired it and it blew then.
